Scaling Cold Email Infrastructure
Using your primary business domain for cold outreach is a massive risk. We built this generator to help you safely scale horizontal outbound architecture.
Why use alternate domains?
If you send cold emails directly from your primary company domain (e.g., impactquill.com) and users mark them as spam, your domain's reputation will tank. Eventually, your internal corporate emails to investors, clients, and partners will start going to spam. Always use alternate "look-alike" domains for outbound campaigns to protect your root domain.
Which TLDs are best?
Not all Top-Level Domains (TLDs) are created equal in the eyes of Google and Microsoft. Stick to high-trust TLDs like .com, .co, .io, and .net. Avoid cheap, heavily abused TLDs like .xyz, .click, or .info, as they are inherently trusted less by spam filters right out of the box.
How many domains do I need?
To stay under the radar of major spam filters, you should limit each sending domain to roughly 30-50 outbound emails per day. If you want to send 1,000 cold emails a day, you shouldn't use 1 domain—you should spread that volume horizontally across 20 to 30 alternate domains.
Domain Warming and Aging
You can't buy a domain today and blast 50 emails tomorrow. Brand new domains are treated with extreme suspicion. You must set up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, and then connect them to an automated warmup tool for at least 14 to 21 days before launching your first campaign.
